OUR BATTERY SOLUTION

To achieve our ultra high energy density battery, oxygen from the surrounding air diffuses through the gas diffusion layer to the cathode of the battery.


During discharge, the battery consumes oxygen, combining it with lithium ions from the solid-state electrolyte to form lithium oxide (4 electron reaction). 


During charge, oxygen is released back to the atmosphere generating a battery that has four times the energy density of current state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries.
